AMANDA JANE
Amanda Jane is a highly specialized variety performer who suspends herself from silks, hoops and unique props. She demonstrates fearlessness as a target girl, poise as a show girl, and excitement as a stilt walker and mermaid. ARTIST BIO
I have been teaching and performing circus arts for many years. I have studied under various other artists, including artists from Cirque du Soleil. I work for several different companies including Westchester Circus Arts, Zabo Circus Productions, Athena Entertainment, Acrobats and Aerials Inc., Imagine Circus, National Circus Project, and more. My specialties include lyra, aerial silks, hammock, trapeze, aerial span sets and cube. I am also a target girl and partner to the worlds fastest and most accurate knife thrower, magicians assistant, stilt walker, show girl (living object) and a mermaid. I have performed in various places including Tarrytown, Katonah, Brooklyn, Central Park, Canada and the UK.
Circus has given me a sense of purpose in life. It’s a place where I feel most welcomed; my home. Through circus, I have overcome many obstacles and built strong bonds with friends/coworkers, performers, and my students. Circus gives me strength.
